Sacramental Preparation for children

The Church of the Holy Ghost provides year-long classes to prepare children and teenagers for the reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, First Penance, First Communion, and Confirmation.

FIRST PENANCE AND FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Requirements

• Baptized Catholic, 2nd Grade and older children
• Registered Member of the Parish
• Participation of the Parents or guardian in home faith formation
• Weekly Mass attendance (8:30am)
• Weekly class attendance (Sunday 9:30—10:30am)
  

Schedule

• Classes begin in late September and run each week through April
• First Penance - 1st Saturday of March (9:30—11:30am)
• First Communion - 1st Sunday in May at the 12:00 Mass
  (practice held Saturday prior from 9:00 –11:00am)
